The city of Orlando is the county seat of Orange County and is the central city of the metropolitan area of the same name, as well as the head of the region known as Central Florida in the southeastern U.S. state of Florida. The city is primarily known for its hotels and its many tourist attractions of interest to children and youth, particularly Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort. Other attractions include SeaWorld. Downtown Orlando, better known as Downtown Orlando, has undergone continuous redevelopment, despite being away from the main tourist attractions.
